White Water Rafting Equipments

Boats used for White Water Rafting

White water rafting trip basically includes a special raft. These boats are specifically designed for the purpose of whitewater rafting adventures and are incredibly tough. These boats can smash rocks, pound waves and take people climbing in and out of them for years before they need to be retired. Our River Rafts are hand crafted and built tough with quadruple reinforced seams. We use self-bailing rafts that are designed with your comfort in mind. Main tubes of the boats were made with 1000 denier 0.9mm thick, high quality fabric. The bottoms are made from heavy - duty 1.8mm thick material using the double strength, full Panama method. In addition, the heavy - duty D - rings, full length side rub strakes, handles, valves and glue bring special value to our River Rafts. Many years of experience and field testing have been done by the manufacturer to manufacture these swift, stable designs with all of the above features.

Our River Rafts have various optional items, maximal space inside the boat and is fitted for comfortable usage of river guides and users, the unique design of gradual bow and stern rise, along with a slightly raised floor for improved tracking. We are well known for their easy handling and maneuverability.

Personal Floating Device (Life Saving Jacket)

Personal flotation device (PFD) or Life saving jacket is an important component of white water rafting trip. The vest can float individuals of any shape and size and are very buoyant. When one is in the water, he/she feels much lighter. That's because one’s body has displaced water that is pushing back and creating buoyancy. A life jacket is filled with a very light material, usually foam that can displace a lot of water compared to its weight. A cubic foot of foam weighs about one pound. It will float on top of the water because it only has to displace one pound of water. These super comfortable, high buoyancy life vests could save lives.

Helmets

Helmets are also important to wear for White Water Rafting. The purpose of the helmet is to absorb the energy of an impact to prevent head injury.

Paddles

Rafters will need paddles to help power the raft downriver. The paddles are around five feet long, and are made of an aluminum shaft, a durable plastic blade and plastic coasting.

Rescue Lines

Throw lines is built with distance in mind. They are extremely useful in terms of emergency when the boat is out of reach. The throw-line has a bag at the end of it for weight, but the bag floats. The person to whom the bag is thrown uses it as a flotation device. A length of line pulled out of the opened sack and belayed around the back, held by the left hand and the bag with remaining line thrown just ahead of the person in the water. A nearby tree or additional rescuer will greatly assist in holding a swimmer against the current.
