Rafting Team 39, is one of the Sri Lankas expert White Water Rafting adventure activity providers, based in the scenic town of Kithulgala in Sri Lanka. Rafting Team 39 offers White Water Rafting, Hiking, Trekking, Water Sliding  Caving and many more exciting soft  adventure experiences to you. 

When you drive through the Hatton, Colombo A7 Road, you can easily find the Rafting Team 39 rafting joint at the 39th Kilometer Post. When you are there, just give a shout to Ravi, an experienced seaman cum entrepreneur with the Rafting Team 39 at White Water’s Edge, Kithulgala.

Ravi, and his brother have started this venture with the support and blessing of their family way back in early 2009. As kids, we were bread and buttered with this natural water streams and the Kelani river was part of our day to day life as we used to swim, dive, boating and fishing when we get a free time. Today, with Rafting Team 39, we wanted to share these with all of you who has not experienced the beauty of this Kelani river and its rapids along with the surrounding greenery which brings so much pleasure to us throughout.

Experienced Safety-Conscious Activity Guides : Rafting Team 39 is a well-respected and established outdoor activity provider based in Kithulgala, Sri Lanka, with over years of industry experience, welcoming adventure-seekers on our daily trips, including white water rafting, Jungle Trekking and Hiking on the River Kelani and surrounded jungles and water streams. With the latest safety equipment and safety precautions included as standard, we provide the experience of a lifetime in a safe environment through our trained and experienced raft guides and staff who maintain a high level of safety with maximum excitements.

Our Team

All of our guides are trained and certified for a Professional Rafting Job with River Rescue, First Aid, and will be there for our customers throughout trip while ensuring the maximum safety during the journey through the River “Kelani”.

Certifications and Accreditations

All of our guides have passed the practical and theoretical tests on cardio pulmonary resuscitations(C.P.R) for Drawing Heart Attack, Choking, Asphyxia etc, First Aid for Snake Bite Dangerous Creatures in open water resources, Accidents in Water non contact rescue conducted by Life Saving Association of Sri Lanka. Also the Rafting Team 39 guides are certified with;

• Elementary swimmer GRADE: I, II and III
• Certification in Basic Rescue Operation.
• Certification on Resuscitation.
